With great sadness, we inform you of the passing of Mr Henning Pieters, who served as our Journal Advisory Committee member for JoGEA. For many years he greatly impacted Geography Education in South Africa. He was the Headmaster of Clapham High School and an Internal Moderator of the Geography Matric Exams for the Department of Basic Education (DBE) before his retirement in recent years.
The Journal of Geography Education in Africa - JoGEA (eISSN 2788-9114) is an open-access, double-blinded, peer-reviewed journal focusing on Geography and Sustainability Education.
This is an open-access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her/their institution.
