Rolling Submissions Now Accepted
We are happy to announce that JDHASA is now accepting rolling submissions throughout the year. Starting immediately, authors can submit their research articles, reviews, and other scholarly contributions at any point, and these submissions will be considered for the current issue.
At JDHASA, we recognise the importance of facilitating timely dissemination of research findings. By adopting a rolling submissions policy, we aim to provide a more flexible and accessible platform for researchers engaging in Digital Humanities research to share their academic work. This change allows authors to submit their manuscripts as soon as they have an article to the standard of the journal, eliminating the wait for specific submission windows. Additionally, this change alleviates the workload for our reviewers.
Key Details:
- Two Regular Issues: JDHASA will continue to publish two regular issues per year. These issues will feature a diverse range of high-quality articles that contribute significantly to their respective fields. New submissions will be added to the current issue and made available immediately after the review process is completed.
- DOI Assignment: To streamline the publishing process, DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) will be assigned to accepted manuscripts at specific cut-off dates. These dates are set as follows:
- June 30th: All manuscripts accepted until June 30th will be included in the current regular issue immediately (January 1st-June 30th), and receive a DOI after June 30th.
- December 31st: Manuscripts accepted until December 31st will be included in the current regular issue immediately (July 1st-December 31st), and receive a DOI after December 31st.
We cordially invite interested authors to take advantage of this new opportunity to submit their work to JDHASA. Whether you have groundbreaking research, comprehensive reviews, or thought-provoking perspectives to share, we welcome your contributions. Our journal covers a wide range of disciplines related to Digital Humanities relevant to sub-Saharan Africa. Our aim is to ensure that your work finds its place among a diverse audience of scholars and practitioners.
