New Logo Announcement: Introducing the PSLR's New Logo
The Pretoria Student Law Review (PSLR) is proud to announce the launch of its new logo! As a student-driven and student-led journal, the PSLR has grown and evolved over the last 14 years, and has now developed an official logo that is a symbol of the legacy created by our predecessors as well as our vision to encourage students to think critically and to write compellingly.
Symbolically, the scales of Lady Justice signify the values held within the Editorial Board as they reflect the integrity of the PSLR to the outside world. The pen resembles a sense of authorship and is the pillar of the journal as a whole. The laurel wreath is a symbol of success and excellence which is what the PSLR continuously strives for when reviewing, editing, and publishing its articles. Finally, the framing circle symbolises the boundless dynamism of the journal as well as the limitlessness of the PSLR.
Many thanks are extended to the 2021 PSLR Editorial Board as well as to Jakolien Stydom and Simon Mateus for their assistance in developing and designing the logo.
