Herewith two announcements for your attention:

  1. The journal has been inundated with contributions over the last 18 months. We have established a new editorial committee to deal with the number of contributions and are working hard to deal with the current backlog. We appreciate your continued patience and for choosing De Jure Law Journal. We have also closed the submissions for this year and will reopen submissions in February 2027.
  2. The journal appointed a new interim Editor-in-Chief to be at the helm of operations. Congratulations to Prof Elvis Fokala (Elvis.fokala@up.ac.za) and thank you for taking on this important role.
